Trinity Grandparents Day 2016
September 13, 2016

On Friday, September 9, Trinity Christian School hosted their Annual Grandparents Day in the H. Clyde Evans Fieldhouse on the Trinity campus.  The theme for the day was “Superheros”.  K4 and K5 students sang “Love the Lord” to open the program. Each grade level recited a Scripture Verse and the student body as a whole recited our school’s theme verse selected for this year, Matthew 22:37.  Grandparents were entertained by several videos containing tributes from their grandchildren.  Going along with this year’s theme, Superheros, several awards and capes were distributed.  The Superman Award was given to the longest distance, 550 miles.  The Spiderman Award was given to the grandparent with the most grandchildren currently enrolled, a 3 way tie with 6 grandchildren.  The Phantom Award was given to the eldest grandparent, 95 years young. The last award was the Captain America Award and was given to the grandparent serving in the military the longest, 35 ½ years.  Grandparents Day 2016 was a huge success for the Trinity Family.
