Trinity Literary Wins 1st in Region Competition

Trinity Christian School’s 2015 Literary team participated in Region 2AAA competition on March 20 at BrewtonParkerCollege.  Overall the team placed first in Region and 1st Runner Up in State.  The individual results were as follows:

Region Results:

1st Place:   Duo Interpretation (Abby Drake and Jake Williams)

                 Argumentative Essay (Madison Bishop)

                 Boys Solo (Christian Crowson)

                 Piano (Georgia Claire Bourassa)

                 Quartet (Jake Williams, Christian Crowson, Matt East, Chris Young)

2nd Place:   Humorous Oral Interpretation (Savannah Hutto)

                  Personal Essay (Elizabeth Heard)

                  International Extemporaneous Speaking (Caitlyn Stephens)

3rd Place:     Dramatic Oral Interpretation (Jake Williams)

4th Place:    Rhetorical Essay (Nick Reddish)

                  Spelling (Drew Coble)

                   National Extemporaneous Speaking (Griffin Hill)

On Thursday, March 26 Trinity’s first and second place finishers represented our school at the state level.  The results of the GISA AAA State Literary Competition were as follows:
