November 21, 2014

Trinity Christian School’s Spanish 3 class, taught by Mrs. Audrey Burrus, participated in World Language Day and Competition at Middle Georgia State College’s Macon campus. Three students took part in the Video Commercial competition, in which they created a heart-wrenching video for the abused and abandoned animals sheltered by PATAS, the counterpart in Spain to our country’s ASPCA. The program also featured poetry and poster competitions. The students and teachers were entertained by cultural songs and instrumental playing, and were even taught a Hispanic dance! Two students also received prizes for correctly answering questions on foreign cultures.  Students participating were Carson Baggett, Michaela Barr, Madison Bishop, Abby Drake, Tyler Fennell, Amelia Gay, Elizabeth Heard, Lika Schaaf, Caitlyn Stephens, Madison Tate, Jake Williams.  Not pictured Georgia Claire Bourassa and Abbie Howell
