Helping young leaders learn how to think, not what to think.

HOBY is the nations foremost youth leadership development organization.  HOBY programs provide youth with unique leadership training to make a better world.  Every spring, deserving high school sophomores from across the country are chosen to represent their high schools in HOBY state leadership seminars.  The seminars allow students to recognize their leadership talents and apply them in becoming effective ethical leaders in their home, school and community.  Selected students attend seminars and participate in hands-on leadership activities, meet leaders in their state, and explore their own personal leadership skills while learning how to lead others and make a positive impact in their community.  Participants in HOBY Seminars are called "Ambassadors" because they are charged with the responsibility of bringing back to their high school peers their enhanced understanding of our American economic system of opportunity and the competence of leadership.  This year’s seminar will be June 12, 2015- June 14, 2015 at GeorgiaCollege and StateUniversity in Milledgeville, Georgia.
