Scott, Middle School Girls Relay Team, Lead Trinity Swim Team Honors at State

The Trinity Crusaders swim team competed at Georgia Tech on Friday, February 2, at the 2013 GISA State Swimming Championships.  The team, comprised of 15 Trinity swimmers, competed in all levels of competition and took home several awards.  Senior Micah Scott capped off a great high school career by becoming Trinity’s first varsity swimmer to be on the podium in GISA state swimming competition.  Micah placed sixth in the 200 Individual Medley, sixth in the 100 Butterfly and fifth in the 100 Breaststroke.  The middle school girls Freestyle Relay team of; Julia King, Claire Gay, Lindsey Tate and Kathryn Heard, placed eighth overall. The top eight finishers in each event are awarded honors on the podium.  The State Team is made up of the following swimmers who all qualified during the regular season; Micah Scott, Daniel Alligood, Caleb Blanchett, Tyler Fennell, Ben Howard, May Williams, Elizabeth Heard, Caitlyn Stephens, Alexis Brandon, Cassie Traxler, Kathryn Heard, Claire Gay, Julia King,  Lindsey Tate and Sydney Stephens.  Congratulations to all the Trinity swimmers on a great season.
