Headmaster's Update

The 2010-11 school year is off to a great beginning.  Enrollment is over 440 students, and this is the fifth consecutive year Trinity Christian School has maintained an enrollment at that level or higher -- a record never accomplished in the 41-year history of the school.  More and more families are enjoying the benefits of the “Trinity Experience.”  From the classroom, to the chapel, to the lunchroom, to the ball fields and courts, Trinity is affording families an experience like no other in this area.

No doubt you’ve noticed the beautiful new large sign that was placed along Highway 441 to promote the school and school events.  This provides us another way to draw attention to our school and further develop a level of awareness in the community.  We do believe that continued growth at Trinity is likely, and we need wisdom and discernment in how to proceed.

The Class of 2011 will be active in our school this year.  It begins with our sixth annual Senior Camp which was developed this year by several faculty members and coaches specifically to call our students to action.  We believe they desire to be the spiritual and inspirational student-leaders our school needs.  This is just another example of how Trinity Christian School continues to accomplish our mission.  Please pray for this talented class to rise to the occasion.

Please mark your calendar for some very special events, including Grandparents Day on Friday, September 17.  Also, Trinity Christian School, Inc. will hold its Annual Meeting on Monday, September 20, at 7:00 PM.  We will hear several reports from our Administrative Team, and the Board of Directors will be presenting a series of changes to the Constitution & By-laws.  Lastly, the SAIS/SACS Accreditation Peer Review Team visit will be September 26-28 to observe and meet various constituents at our school in order to make recommendation for continued accreditation.

I truly appreciate the dedication and commitment of each family to our school.  It is wonderful to be a part of the Trinity family, and I truly desire to see our school continue to develop and grow in the days ahead.  Please be attentive to invite friends to any of the events on campus and introduce them to Trinity!  Besides getting everyone back into a routine at school, the fall semester calendar will be filled with many athletic and social events.  I anticipate every opportunity to see all of you!

Sincerely,
